At the Waste Cluster of Catalonia we work to promote innovation and growth to progress towards a circular economy.
One of the keys and trends of the waste sector is to establish alliances and cooperate in the different platforms around the world. In a sector where local competition has marked the waste market, participation in collaboration spaces is strategic to adapt to the new regulatory and market demands and move towards a circular economy.
Our team collects and disseminates information on the most relevant local, regional and national calls and coordinates projects so our partners can make the most of opportunities that best meet their objectives, promote the Catalan sector and develop sustainable and innovative solutions.

VERDEinMED drives the transition towards a more circular textile sector by transferring already tested solutions to new Mediterranean territories. The project strengthens the capacities of the stakeholders involved and facilitates the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). It also promotes cooperation and knowledge exchange to consolidate circular models in the long term.
The ESCAC project consists of studying strategies to promote the circularity of critical raw materials (CRM) throughout the CREC value chain.
Management of social license and territorial integration of ecological transition projects in Catalonia
The objective of the Circular Sludge project is the development and implementation of an interactive digital platform that centralizes and makes available to the sector all the necessary information to improve the management and valorization of urban and industrial sludge in Catalonia.
The DCaS-R project develops a federated data space for the circular traceability of materials and waste in the construction sector.
