Grant call: Grants for projects promoting the circular economy 2024.

The ESCAC project consists of studying strategies to promote the circularity of critical raw materials (CRM) throughout the CREC value chain.

The project arises from the need to foster the circular economy in the field of critical raw materials in Catalonia. Their recovery potential will be analyzed within priority waste streams from CREC member companies, with the aim of maximizing their recovery and reuse by identifying and studying the establishment of value chains.

Consortium

  • CREC – Clúster de Residus de Catalunya

Specific Objectives

  • Obtain a structured approach to the different waste streams likely to contain CRMs generated in Catalonia.
  • Validate the value chains that enable the recovery and valorization of CRMs in the different prioritized waste streams.
  • Define project proposals to advance their implementation.
