SERVICES
Working groups
The CREC Working Groups are a joint cooperation space among a small group of partners focussed on tackling the challenges of the waste sector.
Efficient collection systems
We collaborate to improve the collection of municipal waste, reduce unsuitable waste and promote the use of advanced technologies, with the support of a coordinating partner and the Cluster team.
New circular business models
We focus on identifying and realising business opportunities associated with eco-design and eco-innovation, concentrating on the highest levels of the waste hierarchy (prevention and reuse), contributing to the generation of synergies and the circular economy.
Circular construction
We promote the transition towards a circular construction model and work to reduce waste generation, encourage the reuse of materials, and promote more sustainable construction practices throughout the entire life cycle of projects.
Textiles
We work together to improve the reuse and valorization of textile waste streams, thereby promoting the circular economy, creating a shared knowledge space, and fostering collaborative projects.
Biowaste
We focus on improving the valorization of biowaste and promoting the circular economy. Currently, we are driving initiatives around circular sludge in order to identify biowaste treatment technologies and facilitate technology transfer.
