Following the first sessions of the CREC Circular Construction Working Group, during which we collaboratively identified and prioritised the sector’s main areas of interest, members voted to select two priority areas: pre-demolition audits and the new Material Scout role, and the digital materials bank.
This new session will focus on the digital materials bank, a tool with the potential to facilitate the identification, management and reuse of materials from the construction sector, while fostering new opportunities for innovation and digitalisation.
The session will be held in person and will follow a participatory format, featuring presentations of projects and experiences related to this topic, followed by an open discussion among participants. The aim is to share knowledge, exchange experiences and identify challenges and opportunities that can help advance more circular construction models.
