The way companies gain visibility online is changing. Artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini are becoming new discovery channels, allowing users to search for solutions, explore services and identify potential providers without necessarily relying on traditional search engines.
In this new scenario, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is becoming increasingly important. It involves understanding how these new recommendation systems work and which factors can influence whether a company, its services or its content are considered and cited in AI-generated responses.
The Acelera Pyme Office of amec, in collaboration with the Clúster de Residus de Catalunya (CREC), is organising this practical workshop to explore the main differences between SEO and GEO, understand how they can work together and identify specific opportunities to improve companies’ digital visibility.
During the session, we will look at aspects such as indexing, crawlability and content quality, as well as the use of keywords, content planning and the creation of information that can be cited by AI systems. We will also explore how to analyse a company’s presence across different AI search engines, directories, rankings and other digital sources.
The session will conclude with the definition of a 30-, 60- and 90-day action plan, helping each company identify its priorities and determine the next steps it can take to improve its visibility in the new AI-powered search environment.
A practical session designed to understand how online search is evolving and how to prepare your company to become more visible in this new digital ecosystem.
