First workshop of the collaborative project “Analysis of new circular business models around RCD (Construction and Demolition Waste) and validation through a phase of on-site experimentation” promoted by CREC – Waste Cluster of Catalonia and subsidized by the ACCIÓ IRC call for projects (more information about the project).
After developing in the first phase of the project an analysis of the state of the art of the RCD sector, we are holding two co-creation workshops in which we will work on current challenges and jointly identify good practices around previously prioritized waste flows to develop circular business models that allow this waste to be valued as new resources.
Program:
10:00am – Welcome and presentation of the day
10:15am – Flows of RCD in Catalonia
10:30am – Barriers, opportunities, incentives and conditioning factors
10:45am – Trends and best practices
11:00am – Coffee break
11:15am – Co-creation dynamics by groups
12:30pm – Sharing and closing
1:00pm – End of the day
The workshops will be held in person, will be facilitated by INÈDIT and are aimed at companies from the entire Construction and Demolition Waste value chain.
After the two workshops have been completed, the next phase of the project will be activated, which is the experimental design of pilots in real works to then activate the new value chain (waste manager and producer) of the new product generated from the prioritized waste.
