Collaborative project aimed at designing and validating viable circular business models involving the participation and benefit of various companies in the construction sector, materials valorisation, and C&DW management. The project highlights the importance of exploring business models associated with the valorisation of C&DW, either through their transformation to create new recycled construction materials or by fostering commercial channels for the reuse of viable materials.

Specific Objectives

  • Analyse the state of the art of current business models for C&DW; identify initiatives and new circular business models for C&DW and quantify their impact.
  • Work collaboratively to develop viable circular business models for different companies involved in the construction sector value chain.
  • Analyse and validate valorisation models for various strategic waste streams.
  • Enhance the separation and valorisation of construction waste by promoting its reuse and recycling.
