Sign up for the next session of the Efficient Collection Systems Working Group! It will take place on June 19, 2026, during which we will visit Manresa’s high-efficiency selective waste collection model.
The Efficient Collection Systems Working Group of the Waste Cluster of Catalonia is a collaborative space bringing together a small group of members focused on improving current municipal waste collection systems by reducing contamination rates (waste that does not belong in the corresponding fraction) in order to obtain high-quality materials and resources.
At the next session of the Working Group, which will take place on June 19, we will visit Manresa’s high-efficiency selective collection model.
The local team responsible for the project will guide us through the system, providing first-hand insight into the smart-container selective collection model currently being implemented. Afterwards, we will hold a meeting where collection data will be presented, questions can be addressed, and reflections on the Working Group’s upcoming actions can be shared.
