The Catalonia Waste Cluster (CREC) has formalised a framework collaboration agreement with the TecnoCampus Chair of Circular Economy and Sustainability, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between both organisations and promoting joint initiatives related to sustainability, the circular economy and innovation.

This agreement represents an important step forward in continuing to build synergies between academia, research and the business sector, fostering collaborative spaces that help address the environmental and transformation challenges facing our society.

The collaboration will create opportunities to explore new initiatives in areas such as applied research, knowledge transfer, outreach, education and training, and the development of projects of mutual interest. Through this framework for joint action, both organisations aim to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience among stakeholders, generating value for the wider circular economy ecosystem.

At CREC, we highly value this alliance with an institution that shares our values, vision and commitment to a more sustainable and resource-efficient economic model. We are confident that this collaboration will help drive new initiatives and projects with a positive impact on both the waste management sector and the wider community.

We would like to thank the TecnoCampus Chair of Circular Economy and Sustainability for its trust and willingness to work together on this shared challenge. This partnership reinforces our commitment to innovation, sustainability and knowledge generation as key drivers for advancing towards a more competitive and resilient circular economy.
