1st Ordinary General Meeting

On 21 May, we held the first Ordinary Meeting of Partners of the Waste Cluster of Catalonia.

During the event we welcomed and approved new partners. Next, a series of formal presentations took place to approve the 2024 annual accounts and the organisation’s activity plan. The Cluster’s most outstanding figures were also reviewed.

We also heard the inspirational talk “From the jungle to home, a journey to the origin of supply chains” by Glòria Pallarès, Pulitzer Center Fellow and a journalist specialising in global development, environment and health.

With Glòria, we took a trip to the beginning of supply chains, to understand how the products we consume come into our lives and what is needed to move towards and more sustainable and fair future.

Through this article, we want to thank all those who accompanied us and the 80 partners who have committed to being a part of this project.
