On September 26, the final presentation of the results of the project “Analysis of New Circular Business Models around Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) and Validation through an On-site Experimentation Phase” will take place. The aim of the event is to share the insights and conclusions gathered throughout the development of the project, led by the Catalonia Waste Cluster (CREC).
With the participation of Grup CALAF, the Centre de Gestió Mediambiental (CGM), INÈDIT, and Eco Intelligent Growth (EIG), and the collaboration of Celsa Group, Alier, Blueroom Innovation, and Theker Robotics, the project has explored new business opportunities based on circular economy strategies applied to CDW. The study focuses both on transforming waste into new recycled construction materials and on boosting the commercial channels for the reuse of viable building components.
This event will also be an opportunity to learn about initiatives linked to Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026, connecting innovation in sustainability with the future of the construction sector.
