SUMMARY:Come with us to ECOMONDO!
DESCRIPTION:CREC expands its delegation to ECOMONDO 2026 with a four-day stay and new thematic tours\nCREC is returning to ECOMONDO 2026 with a delegation designed to facilitate its members’ joint participation in one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to the circular economy\, waste management\, recycling and the ecological transition. \nThis year\, the delegation includes new features to the travel programme that will make it possible to get even more out of the stay in Rimini\, both by discovering the opportunities offered by the fair and by creating new contacts and collaboration opportunities. \nA stay from 3 to 6 November\nFor this edition\, CREC is extending the delegation to a four-day stay. \nDeparture is scheduled for 3 November from Barcelona Airport\, with the return journey on 6 November from Bologna Airport. \nThe extended stay will provide more time to visit ECOMONDO\, take part in the different activities organised during the fair and connect with companies and professionals from across the international sector. \nNew thematic tours to explore the latest sector trends\nOne of the new features of ECOMONDO 2026 is the introduction of thematic tours in English. These specialised tours offer participants the opportunity to explore in greater depth different areas\, technologies and solutions presented at the fair. \nThe topics covered include: \n\nCritical metals recovery\nWater circularity\nSmart waste collection and logistics\nTextile circularity\nIndustrial bioeconomy\n\nThe different tours will be repeated throughout the days of the fair\, allowing participants to combine them with other visits and meetings. \nA shared experience with the CREC community\nThe delegation also provides an opportunity to share the ECOMONDO experience with other CREC member companies and organisations\, fostering networking and the exchange of experiences in an international environment. \nParticipation in the delegation includes: \n\nECOMONDO entrance ticket\nHotel accommodation\nTransfers between the airport\, hotel and exhibition centre\n\nThrough this initiative\, CREC accompanies its members on a visit focused on discovering new trends\, identifying opportunities and building connections within the international circular economy and waste management ecosystem. \nRegistration open\nPlaces are limited and exclusively available to CREC members\, on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nRegistration is now in its final stage. SUMMARY:Working Group: High-Efficiency Waste Collection Systems

SUMMARY:Working Group: Digital Materials Bank
DESCRIPTION:Following the first sessions of the CREC Circular Construction Working Group\, during which we collaboratively identified and prioritised the sector’s main areas of interest\, members voted to select two priority areas: pre-demolition audits and the new Material Scout role\, and the digital materials bank. \nThis new session will focus on the digital materials bank\, a tool with the potential to facilitate the identification\, management and reuse of materials from the construction sector\, while fostering new opportunities for innovation and digitalisation. \nThe session will be held in person and will follow a participatory format\, featuring presentations of projects and experiences related to this topic\, followed by an open discussion among participants.
