DESCRIPTION:In this online session\, which will take place on May 28 from 12 to 1 p.m.\, we will discuss the management of emerging waste from the energy transition\, with a special focus on batteries. \nAGENDA AND SPEAKERS \n12.00h Welcome: \nBy Marta Fonrodona\, Director of Corporate Development and Technology Transfer at IREC\, and Carmen López\, CREC Cluster Manager. \n12.10-12.25h First presentation: \n“New European regulations on materials recovery and battery recycling”- Gabriela Benveniste (IREC). \n12.25-12.40h Second presentation: \n“The value chain of battery end-of-life management” – Albert Martinez (Eurecat). \n12.40-12.55h Third presentation: \n“Circular Economy: Transforming battery recycling into opportunities”- Christophe Aucher (LEITAT) \n12.55-13.00h Conclusions and closing of the day. \n*The webinar language will be Spanish. \nThis is a joint session organized by IREC\, the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia and CREC\, the Waste Cluster of Catalonia\, and has the collaboration of XRE4S\, a network of research groups focused on technology transfer in the energy sector; CEEC\, the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia; PTE-EE\, the Spanish Energy Efficiency Technology Platform; and the TransHEner 3.0 project\, with the aim of transferring knowledge to the productive fabric. \nThe webinar is part of the series “Energy Solutions Webinars” which aims to inform the industry about the latest advances in research and innovation in the field of energy\, presenting the most innovative technological solutions from the knowledge system and the business sector.
